Objective: The Innovation-Based Entrepreneurial Ventures project is a joint effort with entrepreneurial companies to identify best practices used by innovation companies for commercializing technology and creating jobs. To this end, the project will gather success stories from 40 entrepreneurs, operating companies, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant recipients, and research and development entities. The successes will focus on product completions, funding, alliances, partnerships, market entry, sales, revenue generation, and growth. Desired Outcomes: - Collect key data for benchmarking activities that support entrepreneurs to grow their companies successfully. - Facilitate 10 SBIR Phase II companies in attaining Phase III commercialization. - Secure 50 participating investors and 40 Innovation All-Stars as project collaborators. - Develop best practices from collected data. - Foster development of community investors.
