1.3 Deliverables
Objective: The Innovation Asset Mapping Inventory project was dedicated to the creation of an Innovation Asset Mappng Inventory of key innovative assets to be used by regional partners to gain a greater understanding of the organizational assets available to foster innovation and entrepreneurship across the California Innovation Corridor (CIC). To this end, the project inventoried several key space, science, research and development entities (government, academia and industry) within the Corridor. Profiles of these assets were developed and incorporated into a searchable online platform accessible to all economic and workforce development, education stakeholders, and the public. The online platform, the CIC Innovation Asset Mapping Portal, will ensure sustainability of data captured through the automatic updating feature already incorporated by the host platform, Connectory.com. Access to the 250+ profiles captured by the project is available through the CIC Portal at:
Connectory.com
Led by the California Space Authority - In cooperation with 14 partners. The collection of 250+ R&D assets from universities, government labs and private sector assets will allow for the leveraging of these resources from ED, WIB and professional support resources for local initiatives, Venture Communities, and technology business development. These were transferred into project 1.1 for inclusion in the database portal that was being developed.
