About
Objective: The High-School Teacher Institutes project aims to develop and implement two pilot math and science middle and high school teacher training institutes. It will develop a three-year plan for logistics, including the number of sites, teachers per site, venues, calendar, site budgets, and partners. Once the program has been implemented, it will track its progress via regular assessments, monitoring teacher usage of curriculum, activities, and technology, and revising, upgrading, and expanding the curriculum, as warranted. Desired Outcomes: - 150-225 teachers will participate and gain enriched skills to motivate STEM students to higher levels of academic success. - 20,000-30,000 students will be positively impacted by the improved skills acquired by at least 150 teachers.
