About
Objective: The Workforce Analysis on 100 Key Entities project is intended to perform a workforce skills analysis of 200 companies in the California Innovation Corridor. These entities will include: 100 key space and information technology companies and government employers; 50 space entrepreneurial and small business companies; and 50 manufacturing companies. It will assess the workforce composition of current and future skill needs, as well as gaps in education and training. Structure: The project team includes 6 Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs) from the Corridor, as well as 8 Economic Development Corporations (EDCs). These groups will interact on a regular basis with the International Association of Nanotechnology (IANANO). Additionally, the California Space Authority (CSA), the project lead, will pursue a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IANONO. Desired Outcome Metrics: - Generate a minimum of 200 company responses to the project survey. - Analyze data and develop a final report of the survey results. - Publicize and disseminate survey results. - Develop strategies to address identified training and education gaps. - Share strategies across the entire Corridor.
