2.1 Deliverables
Objective: The Supplier Transformation project is designed to characterize priority supplier needs (survey) associated with supplier transformation and identifying associated supplier training resources available in the California Innovation Corridor. It is intended to be a complex, adaptive, interdependent system, focusing on incumbent (current) workers and the transformation needs of the organization's culture. "Smart Suppliers" will ensure organizational adaptability to change, both rapid and incremental, share risks and successes, aid in the development of an "e-centric" strategy, and provide mission assurance, all directed toward the greater goal of supply chain transformation. Desired Outcomes: - Recruitment of a minimum of 12 industry and other key supply chain stakeholders for an Industry Advisory Group. - Attract a minimum of five Workforce Investment Board (WIB) representatives to the project's Supplier Transformation Orientation Forum, as well as 50 supplier and/or training provider attendees. - Obtain 1,000 responses to the project's survey on supplier transformation and training needs.
