About
Objective: The WIB Resource Toolkit project is designed to create a resource manual "toolkit" to provide WIBs with the guidelines to identify and support the needs of entrepreneurial companies via an "innovation ecosystem," through an iterative process with up to 20 WIBs, both inside and outside the California Innovation Corridor region.
Structure: The WIB Resource Toolkit project is a collaborative effort between three nonprofit organizations: California Council for Science and Technology (CCST), the project lead, which offers science and technology-related policy solutions to the state government; California Space Education and Workforce Institute (CSEWI), dedicated to the enhancement and development of space-related education and workforce; and California Workforce Association (CWA), which develops public policy strategies and builds local capacity to address critical workforce issues.
Desired Outcomes: - Develop a WIB resource manual (toolkit) with derivative products, with a focus on providing support for innovation companies and entrepreneurs.
