Organization:
The Naval Post-Graduate School (NPS) is dedicated to innovation and integrating new technologies and concepts into global operations, in order to provide the U.S. military with a crucial competitive advantage. Innovation is a central theme on the NPS campus, where classroom discussions, guest lectures and informal exchanges combine with research initiatives to serve as springboards for the development of new defense capabilities. NPS is a partner on one WIRED project.

Tasks:
Project 1.6 - Student Payloads on Military Launches:
- A half-scale payload launcher mock-up and a process/requirements document outlining the current method to manifest non-US Government payloads was delivered. The key accomplishment on project 1.6 was the potential of significantly improving access to space for student and university payloads. It demonstrated the feasibility of launching up to 5 individual CubeSats from a single secondary payload slot. As the mock-up proved the viability of NPSCuL, the next step is development of flight-qualified hardware and getting manifested on an EELV launch.

Cal Poly SLO, Stanford, US Air Force, NASA, among several other intelligence & space related government agencies.

Experience/core competencies:
Strong Background in aeronautical and mechanical engineering, space systems operation with an emphasis in DoD related research.
