Organization:
Mission Community Services Corporation (MCSC) is a nonprofit community development corporation. It is dedicated to enhancing opportunities for potential entrepreneurs and small business owners to become self-sustaining, successful contributors to their communities, with special assistance for low-income, minority and nonprofit businesses. MCSC was chartered to provide specific loan products and community development small business services to low and moderate-income individuals and other entities. Its goal is to increase entrepreneur success rates through education, training and outreach and address entrepreneurial capital needs while simultaneously reassuring banking industry concerns for risk reduction for entrepreneurs with little or no capital. MCSC is a partner on one WIRED project.

Tasks:
Project 1.4 - Innovation-Based Entrepreneurial Ventures:
- With partners, collect key data for benchmarking of activities that support entrepreneurs to grow their companies successfully.
- Develop best practices from collected data and foster development of community investors.
