Organization:
L5 Performance Systems (L5) is responsible for the formulation and development of the Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA), the only aerospace, defense, and space prime contractor alliance for the development of supply chains across the entire industry. L5 manages this alliance, provides administration, management, business development, government contracting, and materials development for the alliance. L5/SEA is a partner on three WIRED projects, listed below. Tasks:
Project 2.1 - Supplier Transformation:
- With partners, recruit a minimum of 12 industry and other key supply chain stakeholders for Industry Advisory Group.
- Get at least 1,000 responses to a supplier transformation and training needs survey to be distributed to these stakeholders.
Project 2.2 - Smart Suppliers:
- With partners, draw a minimum of five Workforce Investment Board (WIB) representatives to Supply Chain Forums in years 2 and 3 of the project, as well as at least 50 suppliers and/or training providers attending these forums.
- Implementation strategies from a minimum of three training providers regarding a common set of training outcomes, impacting a minimum of 200 suppliers over three years.
Project 2.3 - Outreach Plan to Supplier Contacts:
- With partners, educate 3,000 supplier companies about "smart supplier" resource providers in the Corridor and Employment Training Panel (ETP) funding opportunities.
- Assess the dollar value of Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) ETP contracts approved, funds earned by companies through WIRED ETP outreach efforts, and company contributions in training programs as in-kind contributions to the WIRED grant.
