About
Organization: California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) provides manufacturing and distribution consulting services with the stated goal of improving California's industrial base and vitalizing the state's economy. It is a trusted source by companies across Southern California for expertise in matters affecting the manufacturing and distribution sectors. In addition to the distribution and industrial fields, CMTC is also active in the consumer, automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. It works with these entities to improve their supply chain networks through the implementation of improvements in processes, employee skills, and company infrastructures. CMTC is a partner on one WIRED project. Tasks: Project 2.2 - Smart Suppliers:
- Through active collaboration with its partners on the project, CMTC will help identify which skills are required for suppliers to maintain their ability to compete globally. - Having reached consensus on a set of smart supplier competitiveness learning outcomes, CMTC will then help develop a concept of what mechanism or process would allow a collective updating of that consensus as industry needs change.
