Organization: Chabin Concepts (Chabin) is a national network of economic development, site location, and marketing professionals, experienced in all phases of urban and rural economic development. Chabin has assisted economic development professionals with strategic positioning, marketing, and organizational management since its founding in 1989. It offers step-by-step action plans for targeted campaigns, lead generations, and collateral materials. Chabin offers tools to boost an organization's competitive edge through community data, comparative cost, and impact analysis. It also has an extensive knowledge base specializing in coaching, industry intelligence, and location analysis. Chabin is a partner on one WIRED project. Tasks: Project 1.1 - Economic Development Innovation Toolkit: - Develop an economic development "toolkit" with its partners in the first 18 months of the project, incorporating effective economic development roadmaps, integrating resources and innovative tools to reach the targeted entrepreneurial audience. - Complete annual benchmarking report and index, in order to determine how each of three venture communities has grown its innovation sector network.
