Community of Practice

Corridor participants (partners, supporters, collaborators and affiliates) share a common goal not only to achieve but to surpass the objectives of the WIRED grant, and create sustainable growth through technology-related education and development. Engaged as a peer-based Community of Practice, Corridor participants share many needs across their WIRED projects and seek efficient solutions to them as a collaborative community. Supported by facilitators on the California Space Authority management team, they will strive to augment current partner grant funds by attracting pro bono support from their own or other organizations with complementary interests. Augmentation may include additional funds or in-kind resource contributions from a wide range of entities. With the ability to also share their accomplishments through the Corridor Success Stories online knowledge base, this Community of Practice outreach effort will promote increased effectiveness of, and positively impact the WIRED Corridor grant as a whole.
