U.S. Dept. of Labor, California Innovation Corridor, Supplier
Transformation Annual Forum (hosted by Raytheon) takes place on
Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
An all-day forum focusing on the modern challenges affecting
supplier-manufacturing relationships and innovative solutions for
enhancing worker performance through new ideas and methods. The event
offers cutting-edge information and ideas to help a company compete
better in the new global economy. Notable companies attending are
Lockhead Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, NASA, and the U.S. Dept. of
Labor. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Wanda Austin, who becomes
President effective January 2008, for The Aerospace Corporation. The
forum will have panel discussions on "Industry Requirements for
Success," "Industry Realities for Collaboration," "Industry Success in
Transformations: Prime/supplier Teams," and "Industry Success via
Leveraged Resources: Innovative Opportunities." There is even a small
matchmaking session for attending companies.
The event is free and limited to the first 100 registrants. If you
